on a car that old you have to rely on your eyes, not the KBB.com I find them to be way off
Truck in perfect condition with low miles- $1500-2000
Truck in average condition with miles -$800-1000|||So go to http://www.kbb.com|||Don't be so lazy. Look it up yourself.
You would get a much more accurate price than I could. I don't know how many miles on the odometer, the overall condition, what options it has, what city it is located in, etc.
I usually use 3 sites to figure out what a vehicle is worth
Kelley Blue Book
Edmunds
And NADA guide
Each will give you a different price. I take these 3 prices and average them. This gets me in the ball park.
However a dealer may use something entirely different to price a used vehicle. It is a dealer only service called Mannheim. It will give the prices of what similar vehicles are selling for at local and regional dealer only auctions. This is usually the price that a dealer will offer for a trade. Why would they buy a used car from a person and pay more than what they could get a similar vehicle for at auction? When a dealer sells this vehicle they will mark up the price 15% to 20% to cover their operating expenses and make a little profit.|||Go to kellybluebook.com ....you'll get it straight from the horse's mouth.
You can also use edmonds.com for a second opinion.
But, I think it's safe to say that unless this is one tricked out, mint condition and rare '92 Chevy P/U ...it ain't gonna be worth much. Be lucky if it breaks $500.....|||no i don't. thanks for asking..
