How do you cite a case which has been overturned by another? i.e. - Texas v. Johnson (1989) 491 U.S. 397, and let's say it was overturned by Garcia v. San Antonio Metro. Transit Authority 469 U.S. 528 (1985).
How do you cite this according to the BlueBook?? HELP PLEASE!!!!!!|||p.69 of the blue book says
ex. Texas v. Johnson, 491 US397 (1989), overruled by Garcia v. San Antonio Metro., 469 US 528 (1985.
NOTE: "overruled by" is in italics
