Should I buy a 2003 Pontiac Vibe with 160K miles on it?

It's a great buy - below Bluebook. I've been looking for a Vibe, but this is the first one in my price range. The miles are 95% highway miles and the maintance records are good. Should I be scared off by the high mileage?|||If you can get it real cheap|||4-years old and 160K no way. that's NOT a good deal. the car can die any day.|||That's a lot of miles, unless it is really cheap, and you plan on getting something else in a year, then stay away.

Save up some more money and get a decent mileage car.|||Pontiacs are notoriously high maintenance cars. The ones with front wheel drive %26amp; a V6 are really bad, you have to unbolt the engine from the mounts just to change the spark plugs. I'd be at least very cautious. Maybe check Edmonds, or Kelly and see what the rating is as a used car.|||Regardless of age, 160,000 is pushing it for a Pontiac. There probably isn't alot of life left in it.|||Pontiacs are very durable. But 160K miles is a test.
