Whats happening in the suv market? 3 dealers had used suv"s 1000. over bluebook?

specifically, fords, toyotas, hondas are 1999-20006 are 1000. over blus book in some dealerships in Oregon and Arizona|||Thousands of SUV's were traded in for the cash for clunkers program.

Now there is a shortage of good used SUV's.

People still want SUV's.

A used SUV is cheaper than buying new, .

Therefore used SUV prices will go up, regardless of any book values.

Case in point- coworkers son has a trailblazer . It got hit . Damage is $8600, book value is $9200.

It did not get totaled because market value is $14,500.|||They may have them for a long time at that price.|||Lots of dealers "asking" price is above book value.

That gives them room to negotiate with people who are upside down or wont accept less than a crazy amount for their old clunker.

You aren't going to get their best price until you go through the process, sit down make REAL offers and be prepared to walk.

No dealer will ever give you his best price so you can go home and think about it.|||what does that tell you/we dont want obama cars
